Remember Mary Kay Letourneau? She was the former Washington State teacher who had a sexual relationship with then 13-year-old student Vili Fualaau.
Well, she’s now Mary Kay Fualaau, she’s a grandmother, and she appeared on the Today show this morning.
Mary Kay Letourneau was busted for having sex with Fualaau back in 1996. She spent about seven years in prison (from 1997 to 2004) for her crime.
Letourneau had two of Fualaau’s children while she was in prison. When she was released in 2004, she married Vili and took his last name.
Mary Kay Letourneau had also previously had four children with then-husband Steve Letourneau.
Her new granddaughter was born to one of her children, Steve, from her first marriage. Steve is just one year younger than Mary Kay’s new husband, Vili.
